Being awarded the housing design for the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta helped establish their name in the area of institutional housing. Today, Niles Bolton Associates, with ofces in Atlanta; Alexandria, Virginia; and San Jose, California, has designed over 50,000 beds on over 60 campuses and over 25,000 beds of of-campus housing nationwide. The company is currently involved with on-campus projects at Northeastern State University, New Jersey City University, University of Mississippi Medical Center and University of Tennessee – Chattanooga as well as of-campus developments at more than 12 universities and colleges across the country, including Auburn University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Howard University, Louisiana State University, Michigan State, Northern Arizona, Penn State, University of Pittsburgh/Carnegie Mellon, University of Georgia, University of Illinois, University of Maryland, University of Miami, and University of Virginia.
