NE WS IN BRIEF September/October 2018 12 FOURPOINT ARRANGES SALE OF 480-BED COMMUNITY NEAR ANGELO STATE UNIVERSITY San Angelo, Texas — FourPoint Student Housing Investments has ar- ranged the sale of Angelo Place, a 480-bed student housing community located near Angelo State University in San Angelo. The garden-style property offers fully furnished units. Shared amenities include a resort- style swimming pool, fitness center, clubhouse and full-sized basketball court. Chris Epp, Chris Bancroft, Meredith Wolff and Craig Miller of FourPoint arranged the sale on behalf of the seller, Atlas Real Estate Part- ners. The buyer was undisclosed. PAVLOV MEDIA, RUCKUS NETWORKS TO LAUNCH CBRS TRIAL NEAR THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS AT URBANA- CHAMPAIGN Urbana-Champaign, Ill. — Ruckus Networks, an ARRIS company, and Pavlov Media, one of the nation's largest private providers of broadband services for multifamily real estate, plan to trial U.S. Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) 3.5 GHz LTE access points near the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The CBRS spectrum will give Pavlov Me- dia the ability to provide cost-effective improvements in wireless build- ings and outdoor coverage with increased capacity for areas with heavy data traffic. "CBRS will be part of our solution offerings to enhance cel- lular connectivity in the thousands of locations we serve which house hundreds of thousands of people," says Mark Scifres, CEO of Pavlov Me- dia. "We believe that our CBRS deployment with Ruckus will be critical to mobility in multi-dwelling units going forward and are planning for a national rollout as soon as possible." Angelo Place near Angelo State University in Texas offers shared amenities including a resort-style swimming pool. The sale of the property was recently brokered by FourPoint Student Housing Investments.
