The property, to be renamed The Lyfe @ Missouri, was acquired for $21.6 million. Community amenities include fully furnished units; a resort-style pool with a large pool deck and barbecue grills; a fit- ness center; entertainment and study rooms; a sand volleyball court and lighted basketball court; a tanning bed; and a complimentary shuttle ser- vice to campus. BRAILSFORD & DUNLAVEY PROMOTES THREE TO EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT Washington, D.C. — Washington, D.C.-based Brailsford & Dunlavey has appointed Will Mangrum, Brad Noyes and Jeff Turner to the role of exec- utive vice president. The three join founders Paul Brailsford and Chris Dunlavey as principals of the firm. Mangrum will head up the company's K-12 and municipal facilities practice groups, and Noyes and Turner will co-lead a higher education practice group. PEAK CAMPUS AWARDED MANAGEMENT OF 360-BED COMMUNITY NEAR TEXAS A&M; UNIVERSITY – KINGSVILLE Kingsville, Texas — Peak Campus has been awarded management of Javelina Station, a 360-bed garden-style student housing community located near Texas A&M; University – Kingsville. The property offers two- and four-bedroom fully furnished units with washers and dryers. Community amenities include a 24-hour fitness center, movie theater, study lounge, clubhouse, bike racks, computer station, outdoor kitchen and resort-style swimming pool with pool volleyball and basketball. EDR ACQUIRES COMMUNITY NEAR OREGON STATE UNIVERSITY Corvallis, Ore. — EdR has acquired The Retreat at Corvallis, a 1,016-bed community located pedestrian to the Oregon State University campus in Corvallis. Built in 2015, the property offers a mix of one-, two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom units in both traditional apartment configurations and cottages. Community amenities include a clubhouse, resort-style pool, cardio room, weight room, yoga studio, bike storage, complimen- tary coffee bar, indoor golf simulator, game room, computer lab, tanning and green space. The community is currently 95 percent occupied. COASTAL RIDGE REAL ESTATE PARTNERS NAMES JULIE HANNERS DIRECTOR OF PROPERTY MANAGEMENT Columbus, Ohio — Columbus-based Coastal Ridge Real Estate Partners has named Julie Hanners director of property management. Hanners most recently served as regional vice president for Buckingham Cos. In her new role, she will oversee all operations within Coastal Ridge's grow- ing portfolio of student, conventional and active adult multifamily hous- ing to ensure that all properties meet and exceed performance goals. COMCAST LAUNCHES XFINITY ON CAMPUS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME Notre Dame, Ind. — Comcast has launched Xfinity On Campus at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. Xfinity On Campus is a service that allows students living on-campus to watch live television and on- demand content from their IP-enabled devices, such as laptops, tablets and smart phones. Students can also use their university credentials to access online programming off-campus. The service offers 100 live cable channels, including every major broadcast network and channels rang- ing from AMC, Bravo and Comedy Central to ESPN, FX and MTV.
